Through the month of July, I'll be posting a haiku poem everyday, renewing this same deviation with each submission, in honor of the summer HaikuWriMo hosted by `MSJames.
I've listed this month-long renga (linked haiku) under the category of Nature, but within the complete collection of 31 pieces, there will be plenty of Human Nature.
One thing though, you won't find any 5-7-5 dogma here. I am a novice, but I am also a modern haijin and therefore a revolutionary, and proud to be.
The preview piece is the stamp designed for the summer HaikuWriMo 2008 by `RetroZombie
7/12/08: Back on track thanks to Firefox3 and the one who recommended it!
7/19/08: Satori -- a moment of realization -- when I knew that I would be okay!
7/23/08: I observed two beetles in coitus sinking in a pool. They would be dead soon, but they never let go. I was drawn by how certain death can't take away the need, the desire.
7/27/08: Feeling light as air going into the last days of the WriMo
7/31/08: Taking flight as the end of another amazing WriMo sets on the horizon. What an honor it's been, with so much happening to many of us here on dA besides! (DD's, senior ticks, =DailyDeviants features, interviews, articles, published works) -- with my love & warmest regards to all the other participating haijin; thank you for your support & friendship!

i'm surprised i haven't even left a single comment on your set of haiku.
july 18 the expression 'your moon' makes it clear that it is the same moon you and he (i guess it's a 'he' are gazing upon. really effective.
day 15 i guess you are talking about the moon again?
day 5 it's interesting how you said 'eucalyptus drown our sighs' instead of the sound of wind. this way, you made the metaphor almost acceptable, for it does look like the eucalyptus literally created the sound.
day 17 the idea behind this is similar to day 5's. just that it approaches the same theme the opposite way.
day 16 this has to be my favorite among the rest. what are those doves looking at. huh huh.
