I've been writing tanka for a year come this March and it's a form I enjoy writing - I'm thrilled reading something of mine might help you bring to light what you have.
If you ever have time, there's more tanka of mine in my gallery - especially April 2008 when I participated in a Tanka Awareness Month - a tanka a day all month!

I've never been able to to hide my haiku addiction but equally love tanka – yet got caught up posting more prose than poetry online so am still working on balancing my writing scales. ^_^
