"I am slave to your love",
Said he with a tear on his lips,
"I am not worthy of that love",
As his hand trembled across her hips.
She looked over to smile,
Then drew a finger upon his chin.
They laid side by side a while,
Til she reached down and held him.
He moaned in spite of his resolve,
And surrendered to her touch.
Her hand coaxed from him all
That she craved for so much,
And all that he longed to give her,
Without denial, as long as he lived.
He never wanted to leave her,
As long as she would have him.
She was no illusion, but was his dream.
Yet her need for him was just as great
As anything he felt for her it seemed.
And if it took forever, they would wait.
"But how lovely, how beautiful you are.
What have I done to earn the right to let go,
For I desire no one else, however near or far,
And will die for you." It would always be so.
